Members of Bangladesh Army have cordoned off a house in Rajshahi city's Kadirganj area after seizing some arms and explosive making equipment. Earlier on Saturday morning, the team conducted a raid at 'Doctor English' coaching centre on secret information and recovered arms, machetes, explosives and others from there.A team of 40 East Bengali soldiers of the army cordonded the coaching centre.
According to army sources, they seized two foreign airguns, a revolver, a cartridge, some lethal weapons, GPS, some walkie talkie, 10 SIm cards, a binocular, drugs, explosive making equipment, etc from theDoctor English coaching centre.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police spokesperson Gaziur Rahman said that he did not know any official information about the army operation. However, details will be provided once they are handed over the matter to the police.
