Full marks for HSC Physics questions 6, 7 due to errors: Education Minister. Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon has announced that all HSC examinees will receive full marks for questions 6 and 7 of the Physics first paper due to errors in the questions.
He made the announcement during a question-answer session in the Jatiya Sangsad on Tuesday (July 14). “Errors were found in questions 6 and 7 of the Physics first paper of the HSC examination. Therefore, we have decided to award full marks to all examinees for these two questions,” the minister said.
He said the current government took charge only four months ago, while the question-setting process had been completed much earlier.
“Question formulation and moderation usually begin about two years in advance. Therefore, the current government or administration was not involved in preparing this question paper,” he added.
Addressing the Speaker, the education minister said the question moderation process was a lengthy one and the questions were prepared by moderators appointed during the previous government.
“However, immediately after the errors were identified, we decided to award full marks to all examinees for questions 6 and 7 of Physics Paper 1,” he said.
