The results of the 2025 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published where the Madrasa Education Board recorded a pass rate of 68.9% this year.
At a press conference held at the conference room of the Dhaka Education Board on Thursday, Prof Dr Khondokar Ehsanul Kabir, chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, shared the information.
According to the announcement, under the Madrasa Education Board, 286,572 students from 9,068 institutions took part in the Dakhil examination at 725 centres.
Among them, 195,115 students passed. The overall pass rate for this board stood at 68.09%.
Additionally, 9,066 students obtained GPA-5 under this board.
It is worth noting that more than 1.9 million students appeared in the examinations under nine general education boards, the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board, and the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
This year, the overall pass rate stood at 68.45%, while 139,032 students achieved GPA-5.
