LPG price raised again

Desk Report

The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at the consumer level has been increased by Tk212, raising the cost of a 12kg cylinder to Tk1,940 from the previous Tk1,728.

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new rate in a notice issued on Sunday afternoon.

The revised price came into effect the same evening.

Earlier, on April 2, BERC had set the price of a 12kg LPG cylinder at Tk1,728 for the current month.

With the latest adjustment, consumers now face a significant jump of Tk212 in a single revision.
