Jagannath University Central Students’ Union (JnUCSU) elections is underway

The Jagannath University Central Students’ Union (JnUCSU) and hall union elections are underway, first time since the institution became a university.

The voting started at 9AM on Tuesday and will continue till 3PM without any break.

A total of 16,500 students are expected to vote at 39 centres with 178 booths for the JnUCSU election. In addition, 1,242 students will exercise their voting rights in a hall union election.

After voting concludes, the ballots will be counted using six OMR machines, and the results will be announced at the central auditorium.

The counting process will also be displayed live on LED screens.
