Verdict of fascist Sheikh Hasina's trial ahead !

Staff Reporter

Information Adviser Mahfuz Alam has said that the verdict of fascist murderer Sheikh Hasina's trial will be announced next week.

"We will start the trial with the commitment we made. We have been able to start the trial. And this will ease the pain of July martyrs' family to some extent."

Mahfuz Alam met the families of July victim at a programme in Laxmipur's Ramganj upazila on Tuesday.

''Some other trial procedures are underway at the tribunal. Those who were involved in the murders and enforced disappearance, will be brought under trials. The next government will take this trial forward.''

Adviser Mahfuz added, reform works are progressing. The political parties signed the July Charter document unanimously, and through this, Bangladesh has moved to a new phase.

"We cannot hold elections by keeping the institutions that Sheikh Hasina has destroyed, the institutions that have sustained Hasina, the same."
