Cant' say NO on referendum !

Staff Reporter

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has asked the government where is the option to say 'no' if disagree with any one of the four questions in the proposed referendum.

"Even if something is put together through forced, it will not be sustainable." He made the remark after attending a programme on behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman at Shyamoli on Saturday.

Rizvi urged that the referendum questionnaire should be framed in a way that ordinary people can easily understand.

Mentioning that the BNP supports the July Charter, Rizvi said it was not properly presented to the nation and should have been explained more clearly. He alleged that Awami League is attempting to instigate unrest with large sums of money coming from India.
