Leaders and activists of the Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal on Tuesday paid tribute to the graves of BNP founder and former president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Khaleda Zia by placing floral wreaths.
They placed the wreaths at Ziaur Rahman’s grave in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area around 10:30am, marking the 34th founding anniversary of the Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal.
After the tribute, special prayers and a munajat were offered seeking the eternal peace of the souls of Ziaur Rahman and Khaleda Zia.
Central and metropolitan-level leaders and activists of the Jatiyatabadi Muktijoddha Dal were present on the occasion.
