The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of Bangladesh AMM Nasir Uddin has said that the country is at a critical juncture next election may determine its directoin, he added. He made this statement while speaking at the Ansar-VDP polling station security drill and the concluding training program for Ansar members in the national election on Monday (November 3).

AMM Nasir Uddin said, "We know that the country is standing at a very critical moment. Which direction we will go as a nation, how we will walk - everything depends on the next national election. Apart from the army, we all have a responsibility as citizens."

Stating that he has taken organizing the elections as a 'vision', the CEC said, "What Bangladesh will we leave for the future, how will we leave a democratic Bangladesh, this thought worries me every day. I did not take this as a job, I did not take it as a routine responsibility. Especially not me, I am not that kind of person. I am not a conventional person. I have taken this as a vision."

The CEC said, "It is never possible to deliver a fair election without the cooperation of political parties. One million people will be involved in the election process. Arrangements have been made for those in jail and expatriates to vote through registration on the app."

AMM Nasir Uddin said, Ansar members will have a huge role in the elections. This is the largest force in terms of numbers. Working in the traditional way will not work. We have to go beyond it and work. Everyone should be aware of any propaganda on social media by misusing AI.
