Newly elected MP Ehsanul Haque Milon from Chandpur-1 was seen rushing and even leaping to enter the Parliament building to avoid missing the swearing-in ceremony as heavy traffic in Dhaka in the morning caused delays for many attendees.

Witnesses reported seeing newly elected MP Ehsanul Haque Milon rushing and even leaping to enter the Parliament building to avoid missing the ceremony.

Several other guests and officials were also unable to arrive on time due to the congestion.

The BNP MPs' swearing-in ceremony held at 10:45AM on Tuesday at the Parliament Secretariat's oath hall which was administered by Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin.

As per protocol, BNP MPs, representing the majority party, were sworn in first.
